Kim A. Pennington was a founding partner of Pennington, Lies & Cherne, P.A. in 1982.
Kim was admitted to practice in both Minnesota and North Dakota in 1979. Since that time, Kim has continuously represented clients throughout Central Minnesota. Since 1994, Kim has been listed on the Minnesota Supreme Court list of "qualified neutrals," and is often selected to facilitate resolution of disputes without litigation (mediation) or to render a decision in a dispute as a "private judge" (arbitration).
Approximately 50% of Kim's current practice is devoted to alernative dispute resolution (ADR) and the remainder of his time, Kim continues to practice in civil litigation, business and commercial law, personal injury law, family law, employment law, wrongful death claims, insurance claims, and probate related matters.
